Nice thing to do when you're bored on a weekend night. We waited in line to see the moon through their telescope, but the view of the moon they showed us is the same view you can get with any telescope from your backyard, although we did go on a cloudier night which was blocking views of other planets.

I have gone occasionally to the stone and steel observatory on campus and I find it a wonderful experience each time. You are stepping back in time, to the 1920's, when you enter that building. To think that this 6-inch telescope is still in use is just marvelous.
