As a parent of a Quest student, as well as experiencing for myself one of the best outdoor summer adult geology courses in my life, I can't emphasize enough the power of this amazing block plan structure of learning one subject each month, with small classes, plenty of interactive and collaborative learning in a place of great beauty, with excellent facilities, staff and broad variety of gifted and thoughtful students.

Weird application process, no way to see the programs offered at the University because the website only shows the original" block education system

This review is pretty pointless now that they’ve suspended operations but if you’re considering applying when they reopen RUN. The educators are amazing but the institution is poorly run at best. If you’re looking for similar programs Prescott College in Arizona is a great option and Boulder also has a block program. I am an alumni and wish I had never transferred to Quest/had transferred for a third time when this was threatened in 2020/2021 so I didn’t have a degree from this institution. This school is basically a masters level program but for undergrad and i left the university traumatized and wishing I had chosen UBC, SFU, or any other Canadian institution.. I’ll give it 1 star because of the phenomenal tutors (professors) I had while attending the institution but if I could give it none I absolutely would.

Dunno about the school...but for trail running they've got one hell of a beautiful campus!

A wonderfully unique school in a compelling environment, perfect for the student who enjoys learning as well as the outdoors. Skiing, mountain biking, wind-surfing, and climbing are all nearby, and students seem to make the most of the location. The block plan allows for a deep dive into topics, with a solid break between classes to refresh. The teaching seems to be of a high caliber, and the culture of the campus is friendly and inclusive. It is a small school, but that is what really makes it work as a community.

At first they urged me to pay the application fee ASAP, then three days later they denied me and my application, without any explanation. I spent my time to work on process and essay.

Gorgeous campus with great views and surrounded by wilderness. Liberal Arts program using a 3 week block schedule where students focus on only one subject for each block allowing in-depth immersion and learning.Large international contingent of students gives the campus a great multicultural but unified vibe. Highly recommend!
